This is an old, historic building in the downtown area of Owosso. Built in the late 1800's, it has run through its share of many different businesses and restaurants over the past 100+ years, now being a health/wellness/herbal store and massage shop.

This was a follow-up investigation. We conducted the first investigation on 03/10/12, you can read information from that case here.

Objects being moved around and placed in different directions, objects being thrown off shelves, footsteps, smells of 'Emeraude' perfume in different areas, feelings of uneasiness by owner and customers in a room in the back, and a creepy feeling in the basement...

About The Building

Old building in the downtown area.. this section of this entire building is long and narrow, with a showroom, massage room and office in the front.. and several small rooms in the back, with a full, long basement below.

Equipment Placement

We had 4 cameras recording.. IR cam 1: in the hallway facing toward the front of the building and showroom; IR cam 2: in the showroom up on a shelf in the corner, spanning the whole room; IR cam 3: in the basement facing into the back corner. We also had another night vision video camera in the former massage room, that customers always feel uneasy in.

We had 5 voice recorders running.. two in the basement on either end, one in the back of the building, one in the front of the building, and the 5th was carried around by teams as they investigated. We also had an EMF detectors, a K-II meter, a thermal detector, 2 digital thermometers, and digital cameras.. along with our other usual equipment.

Setting Up

We got to the location at 8:00 pm. We'd already been to this location and had a tour of the place, so we just started setting up equipment. We set up "central base" in a room at the very back of the building, by the back door. Once we had the cameras set up and running.. we took photos, temp. and EMF readings. Then we went lights out. We took about 30 minutes of silent treatment before the first team went inside for their session..
